Medium-voltage electrification projects, MV/LV transformation, low-voltage distribution and street lighting

Objective of the project

The extension and rehabilitation of electricity distribution and street lighting systems in the cities of N´Dalantando and Dondo in the province of Kwanza North, with a particular emphasis on supply and assembly, in the city of N´Dalatando, of a 30/15 KV – 2X2500 kVA distribution transformer substation

From 2010 onwards, the focus was on the modernisation of medium-voltage lines with the installation of a 30kV overhead line with eight transformation centres along its 40km length, the electrification of 13 fuel posts for distribution firm Pumangol, the illumination of the Parque de Huambo and the installation of innumerable power transformation centres of between 160 and 1,000kVA as well as in 15 and 30kV.
